The Academy operates a student massage clinic open to the public. Student massage sessions are advertised at half the market price of local massage shops, and members of the public are invited to come to the school to receive massages performed by students under the instructor’s direct supervision. Students receive no wages for clinic sessions but may keep gratuities (tips) given by clients.

In supervised lab sessions (115 hours), students practice techniques on fellow students and on public clinic clients. Outside of class (100 hours), students reinforce these techniques through documented home practice on family and friends, recording each session in a practice log that the instructor reviews in class.
